    The Staff of Twiford Colonial Chapel considers each other family.  Always looking for an excuse to enjoy each other's company, social gatherings are the norm rather than the exception.  This enjoyment of each other is the reason for the smooth, professional service given by these employees.  The families served are often surprised by the "quiet professionalism" of this group of individuals.  The reason is simple... they enjoy being together even when not at work and thereby enjoy helping one another when at work.  The families served by the Colonial Chapel benefit from the close relationship between staff members.

Harold R. Kidd, Sr. harold@twifordfh.com Harold R. Kidd, Sr., a native of Bluefield, WV, has been a Director’s Assistant since 1986. He and his wife, Linda Young Kidd, have two children, Harold R. Kidd, Jr., and Lisa Gayle Kidd. He is a 1955 graduate of Fairview High School in Bluefield, WV and a member of First Christian church. He enjoys fishing.	Harry Kidd harryk@twifordfh.com Harry Kidd was born in Bluefield, West Virginia. He has been married to Shirley for 49 years. Harry and Shirley have 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. Harry has been on the staff of Twiford Funeral Home for over 12 years. He is a member of Wayside Baptist Church. Harry is a member of South Norfolk Masonic Lodge #339 AF & AM, Norfolk Scottis Rite, the Khedive Temple of Chesapeake and the Chesapeake Shrine Club. Harry's interest include Bluegrass and he is a member of the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association.	Timothy Michael Zollars, Sr. tim@twifordfh.com            Timothy Michael Zollars, Sr., a native of Castle Shannon, PA, has been with the firm since 1999 as a Funeral Director. He and his wife, Susan M. Zollars, have one son, Timothy M. Zollars, Jr. He is a 1987 graduate of Western Branch High School and a 1994 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA. He is a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church in Portsmouth, VA, Masonic Lodge #56 AF&AM, and Portsmouth Scottish Rite Bodies. He enjoys fishing.	Mimi Smith Born in Richmond, VA, Mimi has resided in the Tidewater area since 1981. She graduated from Great Bridge High School and later received an Associate Degree in Business from Tidewater Community College and an Associate Degree in Funeral Service from John Tyler Community College. She became a funeral service licensee in the state of Virginia in August of 2000. Mimi has worked for the Twiford since 1987 and is currently the Preneed Counselor at Twiford Funeral Home, Chesapeake location. Mimi resides in the Great Bridge area with her husband, Tim and her two sons, Koty and Preston.
( Photo) Ron Vance ( ron@twifordfh.com ) Ron Vance, a native of Norfolk, VA, is a resident trainee since March 1, 2001. He and his wife, Cindy Olson Vance, have a daughter Chesney Vance. He is a 1996 graduate of Bayside High School in Virginia Beach, VA and served in the US Navy. He enjoys repairing automobiles.
